How Does the MaxLight Solar Skylight Work?

Choose from two different models:

  1. The 15W Standard
  2. 30W Day & Night model

MaxLight Solar Skylight 15W Standard

All the benefits of a skylight with no construction needed. The 15W Standard Maxlight Solar LED Skylight is comprised of a 15W solar panel mounted on the roof and a 300mm round or square LED light fixture in your ceiling.

  1. Mount the High-performance 15W solar panel that on your roof to capture the sunlight. This can be mounted on all roof types.
  2. The solar panel converts sunlight into electricity, which is used to power your internal LED light.
  3. A 10m cable is used to connect the solar panel to the LED light in your ceiling. As such, very little work is required for installation.
  4. Your choice of a round or square 300 mm light fixture is installed in your ceiling to mimic the feel of a traditional skylight.

The standard model 15W MaxLight Solar Skylight comes with a 10-year solar panel warranty and a 3-year LED light warranty.

MaxLight Solar Skylight 30W Day & Night

The 30W Day & Night model consists of the following components:

  1. A 30W solar panel is mounted can be mounted on all roof types. This panel captures sunlight and turns it into electricity, providing a clean, free power source for your LED light.
  2. Excess energy produced by the solar panel is stored in a rechargeable 6.4ah battery placed on the rear of the solar panel.
  3. The battery supplies power to your LED light during the evening, or other times when the sun is not shining.
  4. A 10m cable is used to connect the solar panel to the LED light in your ceiling. As such, very little work is required for installation.
  5. Your choice of a round or square 300 mm light fixture is installed in your ceiling to mimic the feel of a traditional skylight.
  6. An intelligent sensor is fixed inside the roof, detecting movement and turning the LED light on when required. This innovative technology preserves the energy stored in your battery.

The MaxLight Solar Skylight 30W Day & Night model is backed with a 10-year warranty for the solar panel and a 3-year warranty for the battery and LED.
