Our diffusers also provide an even spread of light and keep the heat outside where it belongs.

The benchmark for all Australian-made daylighting skylights, Maxlight’s series comes in a choice of three different sizes. For residential homes, you can choose between the ML250 and ML400, while the ML550 is specifically designed for commercial use. You can even choose from a range of accessories including remote-controlled, solar-powered dimmers and a range of diffusers and trims.


MaxLight Skylight Key Features and Technology

The Maxlight Tubular Skylight uses advanced skylight technology, such as the RayCatcher® Dome and Miro-Silver Tube®. These innovative features provide brighter, more natural light into your home than any Australian-made, energy-rated tubular skylight.

The advanced optical RayCatcher dome is designed with a hail-resistant shape, and provides optimum light-capturing capabilities. Best of all, it’s durable. Injection moulded with a clear surface, the RayCatcher is built to last and delivers even in low-light conditions.

The Miro-Silver anodised aluminium tube provides ultra-high reflectivity that sends pure daylight right into your home. While other brands use laminated polymer mirror surfaces that deteriorate, especially under UV light, the Maxlight series is built to last longer. That’s why you get a 20-year warranty when many others only offer 10 years.

The Auroramax Triple Lens Diffuser Technology is an innovative design that improves on the single-lens diffusers of other skylights. The triple-lens technology spreads light more evenly around a room and eliminates hot spots. This is why our skylights are energy-rated and many others aren’t.

You can even choose from different diffusers, including a square hybrid diffuser in the ML400 model.

Maxlight Tubular Skylight Range

You Can choose from three different models within the Maxlight Tubular series, and they are all named to reflect the diameter of the diffuser in millimetres.
For residential homes, choose from the ML250 or ML400, and for commercial applications we have the ML550.

MAXLIGHT ML250

  • Features: 250mm diameter tube and diffuser.
  • The ML250 is the perfect solution for rooms up to 18m², such as kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and even hallways. If the hallway is longer than average, you may require two ML250 lights.
  • The drop length (distance from the roof dome to the internal ceiling) is 7m.
